On the second day of the 10th Anniversary Celebration, July 15th, the Dr. Abbey Akinoshun Foundation (DAAF) continued its mission of service by visiting two key orphanages in Ibadan: Oluwakemi Orphanage and the Ibadan Home for Motherless Babies.
At Oluwakemi Orphanage, the DAAF team delivered cartons of noodles and spent time engaging with the home’s matron. She expressed gratitude while also sharing the pressing needs of the home, ranging from renovation needs to educational and health-related materials. In response, Dr. Abbey Akinoshun personally donated ₦100,000 to support their urgent needs and pledged that DAAF will continue to assist with essential resources.

At the Motherless Baby Home, the team provided milk and diapers, ensuring that the most vulnerable —the infants—receive the care and nourishment they need. The staff received the donations with warm appreciation and shared insights into the ongoing demands of caring for babies without family support.
The day was a touching reminder of the quiet, everyday struggles that many care homes face and the difference consistent support can make.
